Summary
Nils Dickman drives a snowplow through the mountains above a Norwegian ski district and has just been named the area's citizen of the year. When his adult son is found dead of an apparent heroin overdose, Nils refuses the official explanation, learns the young man was killed by a drug crew, and starts working his way up the organisation one body at a time. The disappearances convince the fastidious Oslo kingpin known as the Count that the Serbian gang he has long held a truce with has broken it, and the two outfits turn on each other while Nils keeps going. Hans Petter Moland directed this deadpan Norwegian crime film starring Stellan Skarsgård, and later remade it in English as Cold Pursuit.
