Normalization source code

The Python package at github.com/rankquant/normalize is licensed under the MIT License. Fork it, modify it, ship it in your own product.

Affiliate disclosure

Rankquant earns commissions from retailer links. When you click a "Buy" link and make a purchase, the retailer pays Rankquant a percentage of the sale. Our primary "Buy" link for each product is selected by a published routing formula combining the lowest observed retailer price with the highest available affiliate commission. All observed prices are shown openly on the product page. Commissions never affect the normalized score. Brands cannot pay for higher rankings.

Full affiliate routing formula published at /methodology#affiliate.

Not professional advice

Rankquant is a consumer review and ranking site. Content is informational and educational. Not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. For significant purchases (or for wine choices that genuinely matter), supplement Rankquant with expert consultation.

Warranty

Rankquant's normalized scores are deterministic given the published methodology and available review data, but we do not warrant accuracy for any specific purchase decision. Review data underlying any score may be incomplete, outdated, or manipulated by third-party actors; our Bayesian-prior + outlier-detection pipeline mitigates this but cannot eliminate it. Use your own judgment.
