Data reports
Ongoing data-journalism series on rating inflation, review-platform drift, and cross-source correlation. All reports published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY) — journalists and researchers are welcome to cite, quote, and republish with attribution.
Machine-readable datasets
Every scored vertical publishes its ranked table as JSON — the same numbers the browsable catalogs render, with the scoring parameters that produced them. Free, CC-BY, no key required. Where a catalog is too large to serve in one file the download is the top slice and the remainder ships as per-category parts; each entry below states which it is, and the row count it actually contains. Every rating column is one Rankquant computed itself from individual reviewer-level ratings — no source's own star average or ratings count appears in any of these files.
Rankquant normalized wine ratings
69,234 wines from a Vivino review corpus.
JSON·27.7 MB··CC BY 4.0Rankquant normalized film and TV ratings
52,376 film or TV titles from a IMDb review corpus.
JSON·26.0 MB··CC BY 4.0Rankquant normalized consumer-product ratings
1,352,809 consumer products from a Amazon customer reviews review corpus. 1,215,077 carry a normalized score; the rest ship unscored — no Rankquant percentile, and nothing borrowed from the retailer to stand in for one. The single-file download is the top 150,000 by global percentile; the full catalog ships as 14 per-category files alongside it.

Planned
Forthcoming reports, scheduled alongside the category launches that motivate them:
Wine-critic disagreement atlas
Systematic analysis of where Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Jancis Robinson disagree by grape × region × vintage. Blocked on critic data: none of the three is currently ingested, so this ships when professional coverage is readable.
Goodreads genre-inflation time series
10-year trend of average rating by genre on Goodreads. Does literary fiction inflate at a different rate than genre fiction? Publication planned for the books-category launch.
Yelp: verified-vs-non-verified rating gap
Yelp Elite-vetted reviews vs. general-user reviews — distribution-level comparison. Publication planned for the restaurants-category launch.
Booking.com neighborhood-clustered inflation
Does Booking's 8.4 average hold across city types? Cluster analysis by metro size, country, and price tier. Hotel-launch companion report.
Metacritic vs Rotten Tomatoes: information-loss per film
Quantified comparison of information content per film between cardinal (Metacritic) and binary (Tomatometer) aggregation, calibrated on a shared sample.
