“I like Italian wines for their great variety. Like this. Seems too sophisticated for a zinfandel. A Puglian nose, with herbs & greenness & wisps of mint. Not as fruity as expected, but still some red fruits with a balanced & acidic palate. Chocolate on the tail. Modest.”
