What reviewers say
“Brownish, ruby colored syrah that has lots of legs and some sediment. Jammy aroma with spice, pepper, and smoke in the nose. Tastes like tobacco, pepper, and very little dark red fruit such as a less-sweet red currant, wild raspberry, or out-of-season plum. Lots of overpowering acidity and tannins. Not my favorite profile but I like this better in initial taste than some syrahs. $11.99 from HyVee in Shakopee, MN.”

Summary
The nose shows great complexity with dried fruits, spices, tobacco, caramel, smoked meat and gun powder (pierre à fusil) notes. The mouth is complex with incredible structure intensity, finishing on the fruit and a pleasant acidity.
