Is Pinotage a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Bought this mainly to get a better sense for pinotage. Actually very very good. Smell was off-puttingly smoky/meaty initially and quickly turned strong of mocha; taste did not match the initial smell. Really really interesting.”
From a top-rated Vivino review for this bottle.
Summary
Intense, rich coffee and chocolate aromas with nuances of ripe mulberry, plum and Maraschino cherries. The sweet aroma of vanilla follows through on the palate and melds with the soft, luscious tannins.
