Summary
In 16th-century Spain, Englishman Francis Barnard travels to a remote castle to investigate the mysterious death of his sister Elizabeth, who was married to the tormented Nicholas Medina, son of a notorious Inquisition torturer. As Nicholas grows convinced that Elizabeth was buried alive and may still haunt the castle, dark secrets and a hidden conspiracy emerge, leading to a harrowing confrontation in the dungeon beneath.
