Summary

In a seemingly idyllic 1950s American suburb, a mild-mannered father's life unravels after a home invasion leaves his family shattered. As a darker scheme involving insurance, infidelity, and betrayal comes to light, his young son begins to suspect the truth. Meanwhile, the town erupts in racial hostility against a newly arrived Black family next door.
