Summary
Two convicts escape from a brutal Alaskan prison and stow away on a freight train, only to discover that the engineer has died and the train is hurtling driverless through the frozen wilderness. As railroad dispatchers scramble to stop the runaway before disaster, the fugitives and a railway worker trapped aboard must confront each other and their own desperate circumstances.
