Summary
American psychologist Dr. John Holden travels to England to debunk a cult led by the sinister Dr. Julian Karswell, whose colleague died under mysterious circumstances. When Karswell secretly passes him a parchment marked with runic symbols, Holden finds himself the target of an ancient curse that summons a monstrous demon. As the deadline approaches, the skeptical scientist must confront the possibility that the supernatural is real.
