“I paired this with sushi and mind-blowing wasabi, so after surviving the initial explosion of umami flavors and washing it down with a cold Ninja Kick, my first thought was, thank goodness this is a perfect flavor match. The sweet and acidic, semi-sweet wine matched the salty and spicy flavors of the sushi with strong notes of lemon, lemongrass, and green apple, which also had real depth of flavor. As a sushi wine, it’s excellent, and honestly, it can't even be judged in any other context.”
