“Oak and old foliage, vanilla, cassis and red berries on the nose with slightly distracting notes of fermented foods and rot that thankfully fade away as the wine breathes. Medium body, low acidity but quite astringent. Not as complex on the palate as it is on the nose, raspberries and red berries consistent with the nose. A tad too bold to pair with food IMO, interesting on its own after aeration.”
