Summary
A single mother living in a small upstate New York town reunites with her drifter younger brother when he returns home for a visit. As they reconnect, long-standing tensions surface around her young son, her job at the local bank, and the very different paths their lives have taken since their parents' death.
Released in 2000, You Can Count on Me is a drama film.
168 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 169 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track. Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 7,846 2000s films, not against the whole corpus. A second review pool sits behind it as well: 646 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately.
