Summary
In Kilkenny in 1650, under the rule of the Lord Protector, English hunter Bill Goodfellowe is charged with killing the last wolf pack in the forest outside the walled town. His daughter Robyn, forbidden to hunt and put to work scrubbing floors, slips out anyway and meets Mebh Og MacTire, a wild red-haired girl who lives in the woods and belongs to the wolfwalkers, people whose spirits leave their sleeping bodies to run as wolves. Robyn's friendship with Mebh sets her against her father's commission and the town's fear of everything beyond its gates. The hand-drawn feature from Cartoon Saloon closes Tomm Moore's trilogy of films drawn from Irish folklore.
