Summary
A lonely, downtrodden young man living with his ailing mother and tormented by his cruel boss finds companionship in the rats infesting his decaying family home. As he trains the swarm, particularly a clever rat named Socrates and a menacing larger one called Ben, his fragile grip on reality slips and he begins using his rodent army to take revenge on those who have wronged him.
