Summary
In San Juan, Puerto Rico on New Year's Eve, a wealthy and prominent tax attorney is asked by a police captain to come down to the station to clarify details of his statement about discovering a young girl's body. What he expects to be a brief formality turns into an increasingly intense interrogation, as the detective begins to suspect him of a series of child murders and probes the contradictions in his account and his troubled marriage.
