Summary

Set in 1952 Saigon during the waning days of French colonial rule, a jaded British journalist becomes entangled in a love triangle with a young Vietnamese woman and an idealistic American aid worker whose intentions may not be what they seem. As political violence escalates, the reporter is forced to confront questions of loyalty, complicity, and the true cost of neutrality.
