Summary

Ariel, a young mermaid princess fascinated by the human world, makes a perilous bargain with the sea witch Ursula to trade her enchanting voice for a chance to live on land and win the heart of Prince Eric. With only three days to earn true love's kiss, she must navigate her new human form while Ursula schemes to claim her father King Triton's throne.

A second review pool sits behind it as well: 27,551 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately. Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 3,140 1980s films, not against the whole corpus. 324 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 334 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track.
