Summary
Four desperate fugitives from different corners of the world end up stranded in a remote South American village, where an oil company offers them a fortune to drive two trucks loaded with unstable, sweating dynamite over 200 miles of treacherous jungle terrain to extinguish a burning well. William Friedkin's grueling reimagining of The Wages of Fear follows their harrowing journey across rotting bridges and guerrilla-held roads.
