Summary
Marion Crane, a secretary, steals money from her employer and checks into the remote Bates Motel to escape. There she meets the motel's shy owner Norman Bates and learns his overbearing mother lives in the adjacent house. Marion's stay takes a terrifying turn when she becomes the victim of a sudden, brutal attack.
