Summary
In 1937 London, wealthy widow Laura Henderson buys the run-down Windmill Theatre and hires veteran impresario Vivian Van Damm to run it. After their non-stop revue format is copied by rivals, she proposes a daring new draw: tasteful nude tableaux, which she must persuade the Lord Chamberlain to allow. The theatre becomes a wartime institution, famously staying open through the Blitz.
Released in 2005, Mrs. Henderson Presents is a comedy, drama and music film. Its comedy subtype is Dramedy.
