Summary
The true story of Carl Brashear, the first African American to become a U.S. Navy Master Diver, who battles entrenched racism and a hard-driving instructor, Master Chief Billy Sunday, to earn his place in the elite diving program. After a devastating accident threatens to end his career, Brashear fights to return to active duty against overwhelming odds.
