Summary
In 1930s Paris, a young orphan boy named Hugo lives hidden in the walls of a busy train station, where he maintains the station's clocks and secretly cares for a mysterious automaton left behind by his late father. When he befriends a young girl and encounters a mysterious shopkeeper, Hugo begins to uncover secrets about the automaton and its connection to the early history of cinema.
