Summary
Based on the 1966 Battle of Long Tan, the film follows Major Harry Smith and 108 Australian and New Zealand soldiers of Delta Company as they are caught in a rubber plantation in South Vietnam and surrounded by a vastly larger Viet Cong force. Outnumbered and low on ammunition, the men fight to hold their position through a torrential monsoon while command scrambles to send reinforcements.
