Summary
In 1973, tennis champion Billie Jean King agrees to face former men's champion and self-proclaimed chauvinist Bobby Riggs in a nationally televised exhibition match billed as the Battle of the Sexes. As she prepares for the spectacle, King also navigates the founding of the Women's Tennis Association, the fight for equal pay, and a personal awakening in her private life.
