Is Blue Eyes a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Delicious Gamay. Beautiful colour in the glass - light and vibrant, yet still carrying the perfect amount of flavour. There’s a lovely burst of fresh berry notes that gives it brightness and structure to keep it interesting. Very well rounded from start to finish, and such an easy drop to drink. The kind of wine you open thinking you’ll have a glass, and suddenly the bottle’s gone.”
From a top-rated Vivino review for this bottle.
Summary
Worlds Apart Wines Blue Eyes is an Australian red from Adelaide Hills. The cheapest 750 ml listing found for it is $4,980, which puts the bottle in the $120-and-up band. The grape is Gamay.
Its in-cohort standing is measured against 516 other reds from Australia, not against the corpus as a whole. Only 13 of its Vivino reviewers are calibrated, so the calibrated figure rests on a thin sample; a broader pool of 13 reviewers with at least two ratings feeds the raw-average track.
