Is Primitivo di Manduria a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Quite deep ruby. A jammy nose of red cherry and plum, cooked blueberry. In the mouth it’s a bit jammy, missing freshness. I get notes of licorice, cloves, and dark chocolate. Some caramel from appassimento, I guess! Grippy high tannin, medium acidity, full body. I wonder if this could age for a bit longer.”
