Is Milton Park Shiraz a good wine?
What reviewers say
“In praise of under $15 wines that taste like wine: it's dark, medium bodied, it goes from dark fruits to black pepper and it doesn't taste like a superripe gumball. Thorne-Clarke knows this their bottom tier wine but they had the integrity to say: "it is what it is." Don't look for it to have the sugary glycerin of some similarly priced blends from CA or WA, don't look for it to have the nuance of a Crianza. Just try it. I did, and I enjoyed every plain-Jane, real WINE drop of it.”

Summary
The nose is lifted berry fruits, with hints of dark chocolate and spice. The palate is medium bodied with intense plummy fruit. This plummy fruit fills the whole palate and combined with the soft and approachable tannins creates a very mouth filling wine. The length of flavour is long with plumy and liquorice fruit and spicy oak.
