Is Montepulciano d'Abruzzo a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Vincenzo Spinelli started out as a bulk wine producer in the Sangro Valley in Abruzzo, but yearned to produce better quality wines. He purchased more land in the early 90s and started the premium label Terra d’Aligi. Cloudy violet hue, intense plum nose, with blackberry, and oak aromas. Prominent plum but underlying blackberry flavours. Soft, yet lively. Full body, with a warm finish. Drying, with a round mouthfeel. Paired with Chianina burger and summer salad (cucumber, onion, tomatoes)🍷🍇”
