Is Schulthauser Weissburgunder (Pinot Bianco) a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Delightfully refreshing Alto Adige Pinot Bianco. Sharp aromas of green apple, pear, lemon, bay leaf and crushed gravel minerality. The palate is lean and crisp with apple, grapefruit, lime and green herbs through a long crushed rocks minerality finish.”
From a top-rated Vivino review for this bottle.
Summary
On the nose it offers fresh-cut fruit of lemon, honeydew, apricot with and underlying minerality. Less florally driven than Alsatian wines, it is more about pure fruit delineation. Then, on the palate, it has a healthy dose of acidity which keeps it very refreshing with elegant balance and a clean lengthy finish
