“I love, love, love Pinots. This one is excellent! Always get the truth of what you’re drinking on the back label. The front label is strictly a marketing tool. Buy “produced and bottled by…” I don’t by “vinted by…” when I don’t know what’s in the bottle, and I never buy “cellared by….” This is a family owned winery with the finest history going back to Napa where Walter Schug was the winemaker at Joseph Phelps. When he left Phelps it was to buy his own Sonoma winery to make Pinots.”
