“Dark purple ruby; medium viscosity. Prominent nose: fresh green bell pepper, fresh herbs (mint?), tobacco, leather. Prominent palate: tart blackberry, blueberry, black currant. Medium-plus acidity, medium-plus tannins, medium-plus body. Tannins are round and smooth; rich, round, smooth mouthfeel tempered with nice acidity. Great balance, plentiful layering, long finish.”
