“De tonen van zwarte bessen en Bos vruchten zorgen ervoor dat je de vanillesmaak in de wijn beter proeft. Dus een gerecht met paprika past uitstekend bij deze wijn, want paprika en vanilla is een tongstrelende combinatie. De Atlantische zeewind van Portugal zorgt voor een gematigd klimaat. De zomers warm en de winters koud. Dit komt de smaak van de druiven en uiteindelijk de wijn ten goede. Er is trouwens ook een rode versie van.”
