Is Alte Reben Riesling Trocken a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Rheingau Wine Festival in Frankfurt, 28 wineries and 600+ wines. This was our favourite of the more entry-level options. 60+ year old vines from the terraced vineyards of Lorch in the extreme NW of Rheingau. Nose of peach and golden delicious apple, with distinct citrus herbal aspect. Palate fresh and crisp well-structured acidity, full-bodied stonefruit, light honey sweetness lingering with that citrus herbals note. €17 91pt Enjoyed as a nightcap in front of Frankfurt's Old Opera House.”
