Is Russian River Valley Pinot Noir a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Eye - light sediment, legs across all parts of the glass, the wine is virtually see through at times. Swirl is easy, smooth and elegant. Nose - not very alcoholic, vapors minimal, strong odor of green grape, maybe some hyacinth and ivy scent.”
From a top-rated Vivino review for this bottle.
Summary
Sophisticated aromas of bacon fat, baking spice and forest floor add nuance to intense layers of blackberry, cherry and preserved strawberry. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine has a lovely tannin structure with refreshing acidity that supports the fruit and draws the wine to a long and satisfying close.
