Is Serego Alighieri Possessioni Rosso a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Medium ruby purple in color with a nose of red and black fruit, wood, dry earth. Tastes of tart red and black cherry, blackberry. Well balanced blend of 70% Corvina, 16% Sangiovese, and 14% Molinara, fermentation in large oak barrels with maturation for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Slight spice notes, dry earth. Medium in body with a medium to fairly lengthy finish. The estate dates to 1353 and has a fascinating history. Consider pairing with tomato sauce, sausage pasta dishes.”
