“The KWV Pinotage is a staple export Pinotage from South Africa that is widely available in the US at a very competitive price point. (30 years ago, KWV wines were hardly available in the local South African market because they were only export focussed.) As ex-South Africans (“Saffas”), this is our “casa vino pinotage” and a delightful dry red to relax with. Soft aromas of black plum, cherry and tobacco on the nose, and rich flavors of prune, vanilla and quince on the long finish. Lovely wine.”
