Is Furmint Nagy Eged Grand Cru a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Med gold in color. Some presence of French oak on nose and palate. Med (+) aromas of apple sauce, ripe yellow pear, pineapple fruit cup, butterscotch, vanilla, & honey. Palate is medium dry, med acid, high alcohol (14.2%), med (+) intensity and finish. Palate mirrors aroma; slightly waxy and creamy texture. Toasty finish. Reminiscent of a high end Savennieres. Great quality Furmint and drinking great at its age. Not likely to improve with more age.”
