“Second night in Evora, and we decided to try a small restaurant far far away from the tourist areas. English was an immediate problem, until the chef came out from the kitchen and offered to speak with us in our choice of four languages. From that point the fun began. He cooked us a beautiful fish dish and two kinds of grilled pork. And then the surprise, he prepared an accompaniment to the pork called Migis, which was, according to the chef, peasant food.
