Summary
Intense and concentrated color. A complex aroma of chocolate and cocoa with ripe red fruits, well integrated into the new wood that gives notes of spices. In the mouth, it has good structure, with elegant tannins and a good volume, with notes of bitter chocolate and coffee. The ending is long and persistent.
Guarda Rios Tinto is a red from Ribatejo, Portugal, blended from Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Shiraz Syrah. At $10.99 for the lowest 750 ml listing, it belongs to the under $15 band.
