Is Rioja Gran Reserva a good wine?
What reviewers say
“This Finca Los principes Rioja 2016 what is required by law for the Gran Reserva is Rioja Gran Reserva wines must be aged for a minimum of five years before release, with at least two years in the barrel and two years in the bottle and many houses age them for 1 year longer. I'm getting flavors of blackberry, black-currant, dried Mediterranean herb, pipe tobacco, espresso, and baking spice and violet flavors. Went well with bbq brisket, a couple baby back ribs, and some burnt ends.!”
