“Leather, sweet black currants and black pepper on the nose. Fruity on the palate, but with a tannic assertiveness. Really excellent with the sausage, mushroom and cabbage dinner in the flat. Lovely long finish that starts out juicy with the currants, picks up steam with the tannic edge, then fades into a nice pepper ending in a faint sweet vanilla ending.”
