Is Berg Riesling a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Four years old and yet this wine is still brimming with youthful effervescence. The nose is full of aromatics; baked golden apple, quince, gooseberry, citrus blossom, lemon meringue, leading into flint and the slightest hint of kerosene and toast from age. The wine is off dry yet complemented by searingly high acid which hasn’t yet fully integrated. It is full bodied with a medium+ length and a slight bitterness on the finish. Needs another 5 years to reach full maturity.”
