Is Côtes du Rhône a good wine?
What reviewers say
“WAY better than it's current 3.3 rating. Southern Rhone blend (67% Grenache, 14% Mourvedre, 11% Carignan, 6% Syrah, 2% Cinsault), 2012 vintage, 15% alc (doesn't taste hot), $23. Medium-bodied, mostly smooth tannins, dry, not much acid, more savory than fruity, some red and dark fruits, lots of black pepper, herbs, and funk on the nose (in all the best ways!). Will only drink well the next 3-4 years or so.”
