“The nose is strawberry and raspberry. Sweet like jam. Those notes continue into the flavor but the sweetness does not carry. There is a tartness that looking at the flavors mentioned by others I could see as Acai berry. Solid oak wood note as well but the finish is not drying or rich tannin I would expect given that oak note. As I let it continue to breathe, the oak is fading. Would be lovely with something rich, peppery, and fatty.”
