“Nose is subtle with sweet cherry and a peppery spice note. A rich medium to full bodied wine which despite the high alcohol is soft and incredibly smooth. Packed with bright red fruit notes and earthy spiciness, brings a bit of the Provence sunshine to the glass. Lacks depth of flavour compared to other wines from the region but that said it’s a pleasant, easy to drink wine that is a good quality for the price. Great find from laithwaites.”
