Is Tinto a good wine?

What reviewers say

“An oak so young it could be an acorn. Hints of black fruit on the nose. A temperamental Tempranillo - it paired reasonably well with the wife's Chilli, but not so well with my Thai Green Curry. She described carrots and cardboard, but maybe she's getting confused with the case it came in. My daughter described an aftertaste of whisky, but she's probably found the oak.”
