Is Terre di Verona Valpolicella Ripasso a good wine?
What reviewers say
“Dark ruby, but with the years it has gained an almost-brick red shadow. Intense, wine-y nose, mature berries and cherry. The ageing built a complex structure and it's now less of an easy rider, compared to the bottle I have tasted a year ago: very strong, mature red fruits, cherry and plum above all. Tannins are now more present, ore astringent. Persistency is pretty good, relatively strong finish. Very competent Ripasso Superiore, no questions.”
