Is Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore a good wine?
What reviewers say
“87-88/100, 3,8* Harmonious nose of medium intensity with hints of fresh green apple, nectarine, meadow flowers. Smooth dry taste of medium intensity with very good balance, medium+ acidity, light-to-medium body, fresh green apple, nectarine, light bitterness of apple seeds, minerals on the palate, medium+ complexity, medium length. Very nice and drinkable Prosecco, too fizzy. Finally it’s my 💯 Prosecco! Perfectly paired with tagliatelle, shrimps and pest sauce!”
From a top-rated Vivino review for this bottle.
Summary
Pale straw yellow dry and subtle, the essential elegance of the aromas of apple, pear and peach make it an easy to drink wine that inspires to be tasted. The rounded flavour with a balanced acidity make it a versatile wine which satisfies the taster. The aftertaste is fruity. The bubbles are subtle, creamy, almost velvety on the palate.
