“When rating any wine, there are 2 factors to consider: Price & quality. For the most part, you get what you pay for. However, this wine exceeds all expectations. At $6 a bottle the quality for the price is astonishing. This could blind taste as a wine 4-5 times its cost. The nose: beautiful & bountiful, fruits & earth. The palate: matched the nose closely. Both dark fruits & highlighted by red berries. Undertones of bell pepper, olives, & occasional hints of vanilla. Young, not too tannic.”
